Day Long
trip:
The deputed guide will pick you up at 08:00
am in the morning from a suitable location and
drive to Demra Ghat (15km) to board the boat.
The boat will start cruising upstream in the
river Sitalakhya as soon as the guests are on
board. the boat will arrive at Murapara. You
can visit a Zaminder's Palace now converted
to a college. You can also visit a Jute Mill
here on the bank of the river with a prior information
to the management. The cruising will continue
upstream further for almost one hour before
turning back. Around 13:00 hours, lunch will
be served along with mineral water for drinking.
During the cruise, you will see the Gangetic
dolphins in the river. On way back, we shall
serve you tea/coffee with cookies before stopping
at Noapara to show you the weaving of traditional
Jamdani fabric, very popular with our ladies
as Sharee. It will be possible for you to buy
pieces of Jamdani cloths as souvenirs. Back
to Demra to get down from the boat and drive
to Dhaka by the waiting vehicle. Arrive Dhaka
in the late afternoon.

Long trip in sailboat : We can organise
a full day River Cruise with a typical sailboat
if there is a booking of minimum six (6) number
of guests for a trip. Details will be provided
on request
