Day
1 : This trip
will start early in the morning at around 08:00am,
when the guide will pick you up from a suitable
pick-up points . Immediately, you will be driven
to Moinamoti in Comilla. The road is quite good,
and the journey will take around 2½ hours
time. On arrival at Comilla, you will have a
cup of tea at the cafeteria of BARD (Bangladesh
Academy for Rural Development).
Then the guide will take you out for an interesting
sightseeing of this archaeological site bearing
old Buddhist Civilization.
You can also
visit the Archaeological museum where they
have preserved many excavated findings, which
can be seen on Sunday-Thursday from 10am to
5pm and Friday from 3pm to 6pm (Saturday closed).
Lunch will be offered at the cafeteria of
BARD or at a local restaurant. After lunch,
you will visit "War Cemetery", where
you can see the graveyard of the soldiers
died in the Myanmar front during the World
War-II. On way back, you will stop at Sonargaon,
the old capital of Bengal during 13th to early
17th Century, for sightseeing. You can also
visit the folklore museum at Sonargaon. Arrival
Dhaka in the evening around 18:00hours.
