Day 1
:
Leave Dhaka in the early morning by car/coach
for Srimangal (191km). The journey will take
around 5 to 6 hours of drive. On this day, packet
lunch will be served. On arrival at Srimangal
around mid-day, check in to the guesthouse of
Heed Bangladesh, Bangladesh Tea Research Institute,
or at the best available local hotel. After
little rest over a cup of Tea, the accompanied
guide will take you out to show the Tea Plantation,
Rubber Garden, and the Monipuri village. Back
to the guest house in the evening for dinner
and overnight. the request of the guest.
Day
2 : After breakfast, you will visit
the Lawacherra forest, tea factory (if that
is in operation). You will also visit the
Khasia and Tipra tribal villages. After lunch
in the restaurant of your guesthouse, you
will be taken to the Monipuri village, where
you can see their traditional weaving and
their lifestyle from a close angle. You can
also buy some finished textile from them.
Then you will visit the Tea worker's village.
Back to the guesthouse/hotel in the evening
for dinner and overnight.
Day
3 : After an early breakfast, you
will be taken to Madhavpur lake, a beautiful
lake surrounded by Tea Plantation and small
hills, provided the condition of road allows
us. After having an early lunch, drive to
Dhaka, arriving in the evening.
